Job Hunting Report 2024

Job Hunting Report 2024

It’s been 14 years since we first established ourselves in the field of Career Consultancy. We’ve been lucky to find a dedicated team, and amass a growing base of loyal clients, who not only return to us for further guidance and support, but also recommend our services to their peers.

As we venture into 2025, our work in forging successful career paths, providing outplacement programs and managing skill development initiatives continues. Since the very beginning, our mission was to help professionals navigate their job search with intent and stay up-to-date with trends in the job market. This year, our updated Job Hunting Report makes it possible more than ever before!

Summary Of 2024

In 2024, the focus for most of our clients was on job market assessment. In response to economic challenges, many took it upon themselves to analyze the situation. Others turned towards us and our comprehensive analyses, informative webinars and market reports to face these difficulties head-on.

In addition to our Career Consultancy services, in 2024 we continued to share our knowledge of Career Advisory during open-format trainings and internal initiatives for top companies in the market. We also extended our support to G/E/MBA students and alumni and launched successful CSR projects aimed at assisting professionals in their job searches.

We are still the only player in Europe collecting job market data on a regular basis – an initiative we started back in 2020 and continue to this day. This continuous research put us in a unique position to work effectively with professionals and guide them through the job market.

In light of the growing influence of AI on job search processes, we expanded our research beyond just Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn algorithm optimization. In 2024, we dove deeper into the broader resources offered by Artificial Intelligence and analyzed their usefulness in job hunting. The significant influence of AI on hiring via job ads has not escaped our attention.

Job Hunting Channels

This year’s Job Hunting Report also includes the “source of accepted job offers” chart – one of the most important KPIs that we track, highlighting the efficiency of each job search channel. We learn what’s worth spending the most time and effort on when looking for a new job, and we are happy to share this knowledge with everyone who needs it. Here’s what we found in 2024:

For the second year in a row, more than a third of our senior clients secured jobs by applying to job ads. Given the current technological landscape, we expect this trend to continue.

Large corporations receive between 50-75 K CVs per week! Consequently, 99% of large organizations use ATS to lighten the workload and save money. Managers and executives aren’t exempt from this – ATS and algorithms can impact their chances of landing a job interview as much as any other candidate, possibly even more! What it means for future job seekers:

Our Achievements In 2024

  • our returning client rate has been growing steadily – 57% this year (vs. 49% in 2023)
  • we completed more than 5,000 tasks for our clients
  • we delivered 2 editions of the open-format Career Consultant Course (noting the highest ever participant count in one of them), and 2 customized in-house sessions for leading Polish recruitment companies; so far, more than 200 participants have benefited from our courses
  • we have continued our support of women in leadership roles with initiatives like Leading Women and our proprietary mentoring programs – reach out to us for personal guidance!
