Best of 2024 – Career Consultant Course
About the Course: Career Angels has been pivotal in shaping the landscape of career consulting with our Career Consultant Course. This comprehensive program is designed for HR professionals, recruiters, coaches, and career consultants who aim to enhance their skillset and effectiveness in career guidance. The course provides a confidential and supportive environment where participants can learn from each other, share experiences, and apply the most effective strategies in their practice.
What have been the results of the project this year?
Career Consultant Course 2024 – overview
This year, we successfully conducted two open Polish editions of the course, bringing our total to eleven editions since the program’s beginning in January 2019. So far, we have also delivered six specialized internal courses tailored specifically for HR departments across various industries. These efforts combined have enabled us to train over 200 participants, enhancing their skills and expanding their professional capabilities in the field of Career Consulting.
This year’s editions were conducted:
- Edition VIII: March 11 – March 20
- Edition IX: October 14 – October 23
We delivered the courses in a 4-module format:
Module 1
- Types of clients
- Communication styles (your own and your clients’)
- Diagnosis of client needs & recommendations on how to work with them
Module 2
- Working with clients who have unclear career goals
- Tools and exercises for working with this client category: Parameter Bidding, Adapted Wheel of Life, Career Management Science, tests and other tools
- Career Consultant Competencies
Module 3
- Working with clients who have a clear career goal
- Tools and exercises for working with this client category: Personal Branding, Coaching / Advisory sessions
- 3 of 4 Steps of Effective Job Hunting, incl. CV, ATS CV, LinkedIn (incl. algorithm)
Module 4
- Maneuvering the job market: the four channels (direct approach, networking, headhunters, job ads)
- Market trends and how they affect Career Consultants
- Interview Preparation
- Job Crafting
Collectively, these modules provide a comprehensive framework that equips participants with the necessary skills to expertly guide clients through every aspect of their career journey, from initial assessment to strategic job market navigation.
