Firstly, because the division of roles (the who does what when) has changed and secondly, because the presence of technology in the recruitment funnel has completely revolutionized the way candidates are attracted, assessed and, ultimately, hired.
Consequently, it is very likely that you, an experienced, qualified and competent professional / manager, experience frustration in your job search: you might not be landing as many interviews as you’d like… or maybe not even receiving replies to your job hunting efforts.
