Company Page on LinkedIn: Engage in conversations (Tip #7)

Company Page on LinkedIn: Engage in conversations (Tip #7)

Now that you’ve got your original content covered, and the posts are ready and scheduled, you can start engaging with conversations outside your own Company Page.

Start by joining a few groups. It’s an effective way to highlight your Company Page and attract even more followers. Remember to only join groups that are relevant to your business. Don’t join too many, so that you can stay up to date with the discussion and participate actively.

Don’t be afraid to use hashtags. They can help you grow your exposure and expose your brand to a wider, relevant audience. By joining topical conversations and associating your Page with relevant hashtags, you can participate in conversations while representing your brand. Don’t go overboard, though – 3-5 hashtags per post is enough.

Go ahead and tag others in your posts. @mention influencers or other Pages you admire. This way, you can reach new audiences – when you tag someone, their followers will see it.

Keep an eye on trending topics in order to reach new audiences. Post content around the topics to surface in those results. Remember to join the conversation only if you have something relevant to add. Those kinds of posts should be only a small part of your content.
