In 2010, we started Career Angels with a clear mission: to empower experienced managers and executives with discreet, strategic, and data-informed career support. What began as a niche consultancy has evolved into a trusted, international partner in job hunting, personal branding, career advisory, and organizational development.

Now, 15 years later, we look back (and ahead!) with pride and purpose.

Over the years, our client base has expanded beyond CEE to 90+ countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa. From 66% of clients in Poland in 2012 to 94% of clients operating internationally in recent years, our reach mirrors the growing mobility and ambition of today’s executives.

Across the years, a clear pattern emerges: our clients are highly experienced, senior-level professionals. In the last five years alone, 60-70% of them held roles on or just below the Management Board, with the majority aged between 35-55.

A decade ago, most clients reached out to us in crisis – now, they reach out with a plan. In 2022, 62.5% of clients proactively sought our help before they needed to look for a job. By 2024, 83% approached us to manage active transitions. In other words: today’s executives don’t leave their careers to chance. They shape them.

In 2012, over 50% of accepted job offers came from direct outreach to decision makers. Job ads had close to zero impact. Fast forward to 2024: job ads became the most effective channel (37%), while speculative applications declined to 29%. This reflects not just technological change (think ATS and AI), but also the new realities of how executive recruitment works today.

How Career Angels Offers Meaningful Support In Uncertain Times

When COVID-19 hit, many of our clients were forced into career transitions under immense pressure with financial instability. In response, we offered 200+ free consultations, launched a series of free webinars watched by thousands, and created one of the most comprehensive online career support programs in Europe.

Then came the war. From the first days of the Russian invasion on Ukraine, we stood by our clients – whether it was a CFO in a bunker deciding whether to flee, or an HR Director conducting a call while sirens wailed in the background.

We didn’t just advise. We listened. We stood by them – not only as consultants, but as humans.

How Career Angels Give Back

Over the years, we’ve launched and led a range of CSR projects designed to support those most in need of career help – from long-term unemployed executives to 50+ professionals stuck in an invisible middle ground of “too much” experience. Our FREE program has helped senior managers (who had been out of the job market for usually at least 12 months) find renewed direction – and in many cases, employment.

That’s why we’ve regularly contributed to respected publications such as ForbesWomen, Wysokie Obcasy, Rzeczpospolita, My Company Polska, and Kompendium HR. We’ve been invited to share insights on LinkedIn lives (e.g. with Rikard Larsson from Decision Dynamics), podcasts (including Sięgaj Po Więcej, Scenariusze Kariery, ProProgressio, TOK FM), and international panels in London or Kyiv. We also guest lecture at some of the most prestigious business schools across Europe, including POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Vlerick Business School, Mannheim Business School, and WU Executive Academy. Since 2014, we’ve delivered nearly 300 lectures and supported over 2,000 MBA students. Additionally, we actively collaborate with leading professional associations like ACCA, CIONET, and LEAD Network to share our know-how with broader communities. Our work and voice reach far beyond individual client projects.
