Career Angels created Open Webinars which attracted over 1000 participants

In 2020, Career Angels produced “Open Webinars” to support job seekers. The 4 modules attracted over 1000 participants from all over the world.  We covered the following topics on how to:
– set a realistic goal and how to position yourself
– prepare a CV (also for ATS) and a LinkedIn Profile
– find and contact recruiters and companies and how to network
– prepare for an interview(especially online)

Market Signals – where do they come from?

We started by monitoring the number of LinkedIn job ads in 18 European countries in Week 13 of 2020 (mid-March) – and extended our observations to ultimately 38 countries in Europe since Week 15. This allows us to measure a KPI that gives quite a good feel of the overall trend on the global job market.

Career Angels analyze the collected figures and complement the quantitative data with detailed and personal statements & insights of CEOs, HR Directors, investors, board members, candidates and headhunters that we know personally. We observe if and what kind of trends there are to leverage them into better candidate management & more effective job search methods.

These are not usual times, so we decided to share our market signals by the end of each week. If the country / context is important, we’ll add them. Otherwise, we’ll keep it general for confidentiality.

Market Signals Special Reports – Job market vs COVID-19

As the COVID-19 pandemic came and shook the market, at Career Angels we decided to observe and analyze the changes that it would bring. We have been closely observing the situation since March, when we first started to gather weekly data: the number of LinkedIn job ads, initially in 18 European countries that we extended to 38 in April. In mid-September we decided to extend our job market observations with a focus on LinkedIn even further, to countries outside Europe to gain a more global insight. We currently monitor 80 countries all over the world and can provide data from almost every continent – this allows us to measure a KPI that gives quite a good feel of the overall trend on the global job market. To have a deeper understanding of what has been happening, we contacted in total almost 300 CEOs, board members, HR Directors, investors, headhunters & Executive Search Consultants as well as candidates and asked for their insights, opinions, predictions and advice that we started publishing alongside our quantitative data in the form of weekly reports accessible by everyone.
