
Tracking the statistics of replies to sent emails to decision-makers during job search is what we call “effective inbox management”. It is worth knowing how to correctly calculate the response rate and interview rate in order to draw conclusions about the efficiency of your job search process. The process is effective if the response rate is 30-50% and the interview rate is 5-10%, operating under the assumption that you send follow-up emails to those who haven’t responded to the first contact.
