Many professionals struggle with how to start networking or overcome the discomfort building brand new connections can bring. In today’s competitive job market, networking is essential for managers and executives and requires a thoughtful, strategic approach.
Effective networking means understanding how to foster relationships effectively, even if reaching out feels awkward or unfamiliar. The point is to break through your hesitation and grow your network with a plan. Connect with decision-makers in ways that are both meaningful and authentic.
During this interactive meeting we’ll explain:
- how to audit your current network
- how to stay in touch with people you know
- how to continue building your network
- how to craft messages on LinkedIn that are inviting and don’t reek of spam or desperation
- how to “network up”
Think of this session as of an actual meeting, as there will be several opportunities to network. Be ready to fully engage & contribute. If you plan on passively listening, this is not for you. Everybody is expected to engage.
