About: Working for one company for 12 years and actively participating in the rat race both have negative connotations. But your career choices don’t have to be so black and white! The solution? Regularly assessing your needs and understanding the factors that influence your choices.
You’ll get all the answers you need about career management in an upcoming webinar as part of the Talent Tree series hosted by the Warsaw University of Technology Business School. Anna will explain how to consciously answer the question “What do I value most in my work and what next step should I take in my career to make it fully satisfying?”

About: Headhunters and Executive Search Consultants are often a mystery to experienced candidates – usually when it comes to understanding, “Why aren’t they more proactive in helping me? If I find a job, they make money!”. During the webinar, Sandra will cover and explain aspects such as:
- a headhunter’s role in recruitment processes (incl. how & when they are compensated)
- how to fine-tune your LinkedIn profile to be found at the research stage
- how to find them and then contact them effectively & actively – but not hyperactively to avoid being perceived as too pushy or desperate! (you don’t want to make it onto somebody’s “black book”)
We’ll also explain why it’s important to communicate with headhunters to make the most of every single conversation you have with them, and why you should never ghost them (even if they ghost you).
What else is happening soon?

How to register: click here “About Challenge Accepted Europe”
About the initiative: Career Angels have been providing a safe space for experienced managers and executives in this successful formula since April 2018. The underlying idea is to create a community for managers throughout Europe who have accepted the challenge of looking for a job (actively or passively), so that they can exchange their experiences, support each other through listening, words of encouragement, information and inspire each other. Sounds interesting? More info here: “About Challenge Accepted Europe”
About the event: How good are you at interviewing? Do you rely on your years of experience / charisma? How many interviews lead to next rounds, shortlists and/or job offers? If you are an experienced manager or executive, the standard interviewing techniques are “not enough” to be effective.
Some truths:
- Interviewing others requires different skills than being interviewed!
- Some recruiters might take the extra time to speak with you, not because you are a great candidate, but because they see you as a potential client! Knowing how to navigate that is important.
- Most recruiters will NOT share details about the recruitment processes they wanted to invite you to if they are not convinced that you fit within 10-15 min of the conversation. So you might end up thinking: “that really was just a “get-to-know” interview” – when in reality it was not. You simply didn’t pass through the filter.
During this interactive meeting we’ll explain:
- the four levels of interviewing skills (with real examples)
- how to use the STAR method and build a relationship with the interviewer
- the most important differences between online & offline job interviews
Additionally, during a role-play based on a real example we’ll show you how the media technique works!
