When we look at our computer screen while browsing the Internet our eyes tend to scan the website for information rather than read. Therefore graphical elements become even more important. On your online profile that would be your picture.
After a brief analysis:
– only 5% of used pictures on business social media sites would be graded A or B.
– 20% of users choose not to have a picture.
– The remaining 75% are unprofessional and even negatively influence the perception we have of that person.
