Inbox management and the power of follow-ups: why you should track statistics of replies to sent emails and do follow-ups.
Tracking the statistics of replies to sent emails to decision makers during job search is what we call “effective inbox management”. It is worth knowing how to correctly calculate the response rate and interview rate in order to draw conclusions about the efficiency of your job search process. The process is effective if the response rate is 30-50% and the interview rate is 5-10%, operating under the assumption that you send follow-up emails to those who haven’t responded to the first contact.
This video was recorded during one of the 16 webinars we produced last year that attracted over 1000 participants from all over the world who have spontaneously sent us feedback like this one: “Career Angels’ support and Open Webinars were a groundbreaking step in my job search process. They made me realise several important things that you need to remember when you want to be effective” (Manager)
Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we’ve decided to design a course called “Every step of the job search explained – backed by research!” which you’ll find on Udemy. Here a sneak peek of the content on the introduction to the inbox management as a key tool in the job search process.
With that positive feedback, we decided to put our know-how into a comprehensive, step–by–step introduction to the strategic planning of your job search, with an understanding of COVID–time market trends – published on Udemy.
