Best of 2023 – Hidden Job Market
Welcome to 2024! For over 6 years now, we have been monitoring and sharing the most valuable job ads on the Internet every week to provide you with the best job opportunities within our “Hidden Job Market” community. In 2023, we shared over 2,900 job ad gems from for experienced international managers and executives all around Europe!
What is the hidden job market?
The so-called “hidden job market” consists of job opportunities that:
- are difficult to find (due to how / where they were published)
- rarely see the “light of the Internet” (“hidden away” on intranets or closed platforms)
- are distributed by word of mouth
- are handled by Executive Search firms
- come directly from companies that contact us to recommend senior candidates
Every week, our Career Angels team spend several hours going through websites and hundreds of search results from job ad platforms to source these gems – we do that, so our community doesn’t have to, as it’s our mission to actively support experienced job seekers.
Summary of 2023
In 2023, we managed to publish in our closed group – “HJM – Hidden Job Market for Experienced Managers in Europe” with over 7,300 members – 2,904 hand-picked job ad gems, including 724 fully remote job opportunities.
The Hidden Job Market group
The purpose of the group is to give experienced managers and executives access to these so-called “hidden job market” and “real” job ads in Europe – with an emphasis on opportunities for English-speaking, international candidates that have minimum 10 years of experience. If you meet the requirements and would like to join, don’t hesitate to make a request!
Live-streaming Sessions
In 2023, we held 17 Hidden Job Market live sessions in both Polish and English. During the streams, we share examples of interesting ads from the current week, as well as tips on how to apply for them effectively, with a variety of different approaches like applying with LinkedIn’s Easy Apply function, beating the ATS algorithms or the direct contact approach.

For us specifically, they select about 80 fresh offers for experienced managers and executives in Poland each week! This year, we shared with you 3,692 job ads from the Polish market thanks to their engagement.
