Best of 2023: Challenge Accepted Europe
About the initiative: we – Career Angels – have been providing a safe space for experienced managers and executives – a confidential community for managers throughout Europe who have accepted the challenge of looking for a job (actively or passively), so that they can share their experiences, support each other through listening, words of encouragement and information, and inspire each other. Every meeting has a leading topic and provides the most important pieces of advice in a nutshell for immediate application.
What have been the results of the project this year?
Challenge Accepted 2023 – statistics
We organized 8 events over the entire year with a proper summer break; the topics included:
- Manager, executive – what next? – career management
- Executive identity & salary negotiations – the how to
- Networking techniques for executives
- Hack LinkedIn (& bots) for your job search
- Headhunt the headhunter for your job search!
- Does your CV land interviews?- with real examples
- What’s your executive USP? – story crafting & telling
- Executive Job Market – how to generate interviews in 2023
The meetings were attended by nearly 75 people:
- 13% from DACH
- 14% from Italy
- 7% from e.g. Belgium, France, Netherlands, etc.
- 66% of the participants come from C/SEE, incl. Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine
They hold the following positions:
- 14% CEOs, Country Managers, Business Unit Directors
- 22% CFOs
- 12% COOs
- 16% Sales / BD / Marketing Directors
- 8% HR Managers / Directors
- 9% CIOs / CTOs
- the remaining 19% incl. Logistics / Pharma / Energy Directors etc.

17:45 – 18:00 arrival & networking round #1
Participants arriving after 18:00 will not be let in.

Afterwards, we continue our interaction in a closed LinkedIn group (by invite only!) where we also share materials.
